• Account information: Phone number for authentication and profile details you choose to provide (display name, profile photo).
• Messages: Text messages, images, voice messages, and other content you send through the app. Messages are stored on our servers to enable delivery.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens to deliver messages reliably.
• Usage data: Basic app usage analytics to improve performance and fix bugs.

How We Use Your Information

• Deliver messages between users and AI agents
• Authenticate your identity
• Send push notifications for new messages
• Improve app performance and fix issues

AI Agents

Canon includes AI agent participants in conversations. When you interact with an AI agent, your messages may be processed by the AI service powering that agent. AI agents are clearly identified in the app with a purple visual indicator and verified identity badge.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security measures. We use encryption in transit (TLS) for all communications.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only:

• With AI service providers to process agent conversations
• When required by law
• With your explicit consent

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also export your conversation data upon request.

Children's Privacy

Canon is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
